Kent, Ohio (June 3, 2025) – Coleman Health Services (CHS) is pleased to announce the promotion of Amy Molnar, LPCC-S, LICDC, to Chief Officer for Behavioral Health in Stark County. Since joining CHS in 2022, Amy has served as Director of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), where she has led a powerful turnaround in both program performance and community engagement.

A graduate of Canton’s McKinley Senior High School, Amy holds dual bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology from Kent State University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University. She is licensed both as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation (LPCC-S) and as a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC), bringing deep expertise in mental health and substance use treatment.

During her tenure at CHS, Amy has expanded the ACT program’s caseload from 69 to 102 clients—reaching full capacity—and is currently working to increase that capacity further. Under her leadership, the program has achieved fidelity to CARF standards and earned recognition for quality and outcomes.

Amy’s work in Outpatient Assisted Treatment (OAT) has been praised by two Stark County probate judges and magistrates for its impact and effectiveness. She has also developed strong partnerships across the local behavioral health network, including with Heartland Behavioral Healthcare and employees of StarkMHAR.

“I believe in serving the most vulnerable individuals in our community,” said Amy. “I’m honored by this opportunity to grow both professionally and programmatically as we continue to expand Coleman’s reach and impact in Stark County.”

As Chief Officer, Amy will continue to lead strategic growth initiatives and expand awareness of Coleman’s robust array of services in the county—including Assertive Community Treatment, First Episode Psychosis care, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), the Returning Home Ohio reentry program, and multiple residential programs for those facing mental illness, substance use disorders, homelessness, or returning from incarceration.

“Amy’s strategic vision, community-minded leadership, and clinical expertise make her an ideal leader for this role,” said Hattie Tracy, President and CEO of Coleman Health Services. “Her ability

to build strong partnerships and deliver high-quality, compassionate care is exactly what we need to continue advancing our mission in Stark County.”

Outside of work, Amy enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband Kevin, their dog Hank, and their extended family. She is a proud mother and stepmother, an adventurer at heart, and a woman of faith who finds renewal each week through church and prayer.

Coleman Health Services congratulates Amy Molnar on this well-earned promotion and looks forward to her continued impact in the community.
