Coleman Health Services Appoints Hilary Futo As Chief Officer Of Crisis Services In Stark County

Kent, Ohio (August 14, 2024) – Coleman Health Services proudly announces the appointment of Hilary Futo, MSW, LISW-S, as Chief Officer of Crisis Services in Stark County. With an impressive career spanning over two decades in behavioral health, Futo brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence to this pivotal role.

Over the last twenty years, Futo has worked as a clinical social worker for organizations such as Heartland Behavioral Health, the Summit County Juvenile Court, and Cleveland Chistian Home. She is adept at facilitating communication and collaboration between clients, healthcare providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive care. She has experience working with clients with complex health and social needs as well as supervising teams that serve these this population. She joins Coleman having most recently worked at United Health Group/Optum in a variety of positions.

Futo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Youngstown State University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Akron. She will lead the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), which provides a safe, supportive environment for individuals facing mental health or addiction crises. The CSU offers up to two weeks of comprehensive care, including medication management, counseling, and linkage to community resources, with the goal of transitioning individuals to outpatient services for continued support. She will also oversee 988/triage, adult mobile response, and youth Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) programs provided at the Crisis Center.

Coleman Health Services is dedicated to transforming lives by integrating behavioral health treatments with social support services.
