Coleman’s Updated COVID-19 Policies

Updated June 1, 2021

This revised policy applies to how Coleman Professional Services conducts its business with its employees, clients (patients) and Ohio community members.

Coleman urges that all employees be vaccinated for COVID-19. Effective on Tuesday (6-1-2021), Coleman employees will not be required to wear masks in Coleman buildings. Furthermore, visitors and employees are no longer required to take temperatures and maintain a six-foot distance apart. Face to face meetings without masks are permitted.

All employees and visitors are urged to follow guidelines as established by the Federal Department of CDC and the Ohio Department of Health. Those employees or visitors who are not vaccinated are encouraged but not required to wear masks and maintain/follow safety precautions around others. Telehealth appointments will continue to be available for clients who still wish to have their appointments in that format. In addition, Coleman will soon be implementing an online chat function ensure greater responsiveness to those in need.

The only exception to this policy applies to the operations of the Coleman Adult Day Service (Ravenna) where all participants, visitors and Coleman employees are to be vaccinated if they wish to enter the building. There are no exceptions to this policy.
