Meet Robin – My Story

As a former educator, I referred families to Coleman Health Services for assistance. In 2020, I became even more closely acquainted with Coleman’s services when I became a client myself.

After having open heart surgery that resulted in a series of mini strokes, my life changed in an instant. Since then, I wake up each morning with memory loss from the day before. My life was totally different. Full of fear and anxiety, I gave up driving. I was an angry woman – frustrated and bitter because this happened to me.

Coleman Changed My Life

Thanks to Coleman’s counseling and case management services, I’ve been able to adapt to my new life. The counselors are open, honest, and direct. They help me cope with all the change that’s happened and make me reach deeper to work toward a “new normal.” 

I’ve also benefited from Coleman’s check-in calls between my scheduled appointments. Those calls are everything! If it was not for Coleman, I don’t know where I would be.
