The Nelson W. & Suzanne Burns Community Challenge

Supporting the Michael Schoenhofer Endowment Fund for Coleman Professional Services

Michael Schoenhofer

In recognition for his years of service to the Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of AAH and support of the charitable efforts and mission of Coleman Professional Services, we wish to honor Michael Schoenhofer’s retirement by seeding an agency endowment fund to benefit programs, services, mission, and needs in Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties.

To jump start the endowment, Nelson and Suzanne Burns have challenged the community to raise $10,000, which they will match dollar-for-dollar to raise $20,000 total.

    • case management
    • social work
    • vocational rehabilitation
    • or other employment opportunities to fulfill the Coleman mission
“I am deeply moved and honored that Coleman is establishing this endowment fund in my name. I believe the strength of our system of care and the success of our programs and services rests entirely on quality staff who are highly motivated to care for our friends and family in need. I hope this endowment will encourage young people to work in our field and experienced staff to stay in the field.” -Michael A. Schoenhofer, MSW
