News Coleman’s Right at Home raises over $87,000 Published by: Record Courier11/5/2017 Coleman Professional Services’ 29th annual Right at Home benefit raised a record amount of more than $87,000 to further the mission of supporting children, families, and older adults who are facing mental health, addiction and rehabilitation challenges in the local community. Sherry and David Joy welcomed 250 guests to their home. The pleasant weather allowed guests to enjoy both the inside and outside venues at their home. Guests perused the art auction as well as silent auction items, all of which were donated. Local artists donated pieces of art in various mediums. Artists this year included: Ben Bassham, Roger Benedetti, Gretchen Bierbaum, Brad Bolton, Deborah Carl, Pamela Daum, Nancy Docherty, Don Drumm Studios, Christine Dzeda, Jennifer Eddy, Elizabeth Howard, Dennis Kleidon, Frederick John Kluth, Jance Lentz-Hatch, Wayne Luke, Bob Mayfield, Cass Mayfield, Jan Noden, Frank Penn, Stuart Pruitt, Wally Unsold, Joel Walker, and Mary Ann Willoughby. The silent auction offered a little something for everyone and included vacation stays, themed dinners, gardening tools, pet supplies, jewelry and more. In addition to the silent and art auctions, guests could purchase a mystery bottle of wine from the Wall of Wine. All bottles were valued at a minimum of $20 and two lucky winners found $100 bottles of wine in their wine bags. Coleman Chief Executive Officer Nelson Burns thanked the Joys for their hospitality. Coleman is a non-profit organization designed to support children, families, and older adults facing mental health, addiction, and rehabilitation challenges. Right at Home supports Coleman to further its mission to provide excellence in treatment, advocacy, leadership and education in mental health and rehabilitation services.
