A job developer works individually with a client to identify problems or barriers to successful employment.  He or she then works together with the client to overcome those barriers through job coaching and follow-along services.

  • Negotiating job accommodations
  • Job coaching can be done at or away from the place of employment
  • Job follow along services
    • Meeting regularly with client to discuss successes or possible obstacles
    • Speaking with employers on client’s behalf when necessary
