We are seeking a Regional Development Executive to collaborate with the Chief Officer, Resource Development and Marketing to establish and maintain a fundraising and marketing strategy to raise money and awareness while advancing the mission of CPS in Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties. Key duties will include, but not limited to the following: Maximize community support for CPS’ various Business Units Proactive communication and public relations/promotion Cultivate donor and vender relationships Develop and implement fundraising strategies Implement a comprehensive annual giving program Organize volunteer support for community-based events Build a pipeline of philanthropic support Represent CPS at community functions Maintain up-to-date reports and records Coordinate and lead strategies for all community-based fundraising events within assigned region including signature events, third-party events, and digital fundraising strategies Support strategies related to other giving tactics while managing expenses related to achieving the net revenue goal Develop relationships with donors and prospects through cultivation activities Qualified candidates must have: Bachelors Degree in Philanthropy, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field OR extensive annual giving experience and attainment of Bachelor’s Degree within three years of hire 2+ years experience in marketing, fundraising, and resource development Demonstrated record of successful relationships working with donors and volunteers Competent with MS Office and effectively use Raisers Edge and social media tools Strong written/verbal communication skills, critical thinker, negotiation skills, and high level of professionalism Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision and results-driven Adhere to highest standards of fundraising best-practices, including the Donor Bill of Rights and the Code of Ethical Standards for non-profits Able to work a flexible schedule when necessary, including some evenings and event-related weekends Maintain a clean driving record CRFM and/or CFRE are highly desirable but not required Benefits options include health, life, pension, paid time off, and more.
