Prescreener (Youth Mobile Response) - FT - Stark County

Position Description

Coleman Professional Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs is seeking a social work and/or counseling individual to provide mobile response acute behavioral health services to youth and families in their natural environment, schools, emergency rooms, and various community settings. Duties include: 

  • Offer trauma-informed behavioral health interventions to foster crisis resolution
  • Utilize a co-response model with local law enforcement agencies
  • Triage, engagement, and assessment for youth in crisis
  • Service navigation and linkage, follow-on care, and family and community stakeholder collaboration

Qualified candidates will have their Master’s degree along with LSW or LPC licensure, have and maintain an excellent driving record, and 2 years of experience working in the behavioral healthcare field. Prefer someone with LISW or LPCC licensure (must have a NPI number, an Ohio Medicaid number, and a CAQH account), community behavioral health or crisis intervention setting and someone with experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care.
