Emergency Behavioral Health Consultant - On Call - Summit County

Position Description

Coleman Professional Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs, is seeking several individuals to provide on call crisis intervention, support, information, referral and follow-up visits with individuals who go to Summa Health System Emergency Departments.  This position is available for various shifts and requires a minimum of 24 hours on call in a 2 week period. The expectation is that this person may need to be present at one of the four Emergency Departments in Summit County as needed to provide services, including, but not limited to, diagnostic assessments, collaborative safety plans, and care coordination. 

Minimum requirements include LSW or LPC licensure, obtaining and maintaining all vaccinations required by Summa Hospital Systems, and obtaining and maintaining Summa Akron City Hospital credentials, one or more years experience working in crisis behavioral health care setting; and certifications or similar credentials in crisis intervention, de-escalation, or mediation. LISW or LPCC licensure is preferred.
